Born in California, grown in Australia, and raised on planes between the two, Jory Anast is a published poet, playwright, prose writer, and opinion columnist. She has been published in print and online, and her narrative work is studied in high schools and universities. Now in the world of film-making, Jory graduated AFI with a Masters in Screenwriting. Her two thesis films competed in festivals such as Cannes, ABFF, Atlanta Film Festival, and Camerimage. She is the winner of the William J Fadiman award and grant for her screenplay ON OUR LAST NIGHT TOGETHER. Jory is deep in production for her limited mini-series, I, TOO, DREAM AMERICA, of which she is the show-runner and writer.
